My name is Nedjra Russell.  I have been married to my husband for thirty-seven years.  We have four children, three boys and a girl.  We also have one grandson, Micah, and a granddaughter, Ariah.

Though I was born in Alabama I was raised in St. Louis, MO. When I'm not buying books for children or looking for fun and interesting ways to enhance their learning, I quilt, entertain, and travel.  My favorite colors are green and purple.  I enjoy a nice chocolate bar every now and then. I especially enjoy gong to eat at my favorite restaurants, Connor's, Bravo, Rosie's, and Five Guys.

I am very active in my church, serving as an Elder.  I also volunteer for the Alliance for Opportunity and Develpoment Non-Profit, and the Kairos Prison Ministry.

Being an educator is my passion.  It is my daily goal to focus on meeting the individual needs of my students so that I may  enhance their learning experiences.
